(Project Manager | Herdman Architecture & Design | 540,000 SF | Completed 2025)

 

Summary:

Managed full project delivery for ground-up tilt-up warehouse: entitlements, consultant coordination, CD production, plan check, and construction support.

 

Scope:

  • Directed entitlements and city approvals (planning, fire, utilities, public art).

  • Led full consultant team (Civil, Structural, MEP, Landscape, Fire Protection).

  • Oversaw Revit/Bluebeam production with hybrid outsource teams.

  • Managed plan check cycles, agency responses, and expeditor coordination.

  • Provided construction-phase support: submittals, RFIs, bulletins, owner changes.

  • Delivered under aggressive schedules: 6-week entitlements, 6-week CDs.

Bar Étoile — French-Inspired California Bistro, Los Angeles

(Project Manager + Designer | Lovers Unite | Completed 2024)

 

Summary:

Managed design execution for a French-inspired California bistro on Melrose Hill, contributing to the emerging Los Angeles art corridor with a chic, textural, and quietly sophisticated design.

 

Scope:

  • Led CD production from concept through permit approvals.

  • Specified specialty hardware, equipment, and finishes.

  • Coordinated specialty lighting consultant and full MEP integration.

  • Collaborated with kitchen designer to fully integrate back-of-house systems.

  • Developed detailing to fuse minimalist forms with warm, textural materiality.

  • Managed consultant coordination and early construction phase execution.

Mixed-Use Adaptive Reuse — Mid-Century Hillside Redevelopment - Silverlake, Los Angeles

(Job Captain / Designer | RAC Design Build | Concept & Design Development | 2020)

 

Summary:

Led design development for adaptive reuse of mid-century hillside structure into mixed-use complex on steep-sloped site, integrating signature circulation and site planning elements.

 

Scope:

  • Developed full DNA approval package and SD drawing set.

  • Designed site circulation, incorporating curved drive ramp and major monolithic stair feature (signature design contribution).

  • Coordinated early consultant input for grading, structural feasibility, and agency approvals.

  • Generated design narrative and graphics for entitlement and owner review.

Key Wins:

  • Originated monolithic stair design as unifying project element.

  • Solved complex site grading and access on steep topography.

Sonoma Fire Village – Connect 1 Prefab Module (Adaptive Housing)

Summary:

Led project delivery for a Connect Homes factory-built Connect 1 prefab module as part of Sonoma Fire Village—Post-fire recovery housing following Sonoma wildfires, designed for fast, modern modular construction.

 

Scope:

  • Managed full SD, DD, CD packages and shop drawing production.

  • Coordinated consultant and client communication through permit-ready completion.

  • Handled integration between prefab manufacturer, factory drawings, and onsite assembly logistics.

Key Wins:

  • Delivered fully compliant shop drawings within fast-track wildfire rebuild window.

  • Streamlined alignment between manufacturer spec and local agency permitting.

  • Supported modular assembly process, enabling efficient factory-to-site execution on challenging terrain.
     

 

360 E 89th Street — Upper East Side Residential Tower

(Designer | SHoP Architects | 2013–2015)

 

Summary:

Produced Revit design documentation for 82-unit, 242,000 sf Upper East Side residential tower from concept through design development.
 

Scope:

  • Developed Revit models, massing studies, and floor plan layouts.

  • Assisted design team with facade studies and amenity space planning.

 

Residential Planning Standards — Firmwide Application

(Designer | SHoP Architects | 2013–2015)

Summary:

Supported development of residential design guidelines for SHoP’s supertall residential projects—including Brooklyn Tower (340 Flatbush), 111 57th Street, and others—by building Revit-based planning tools and assisting in unit design studies.

Scope:

  • Built Revit families and parametric unit layouts for residential floor plan standards.

  • Assisted Director of Residential Planning with design studies for unit efficiency, vertical circulation, and amenity adjacency.

  • Supported integration of guidelines into early schematic planning across multiple supertall residential projects.

Key Wins:

  • Enabled rapid plan iteration for complex high-rise unit stacks.

  • Contributed to planning studies for Brooklyn Tower (1,066 ft) and Steinway Tower (1,428 ft) early design phases.

  • Delivered scalable Revit tools used across SHoP’s residential portfolio.
